Over the last couple of months, we’ve been working with the Business and Trade Investment Board (BTIB) in the Cook Islands to develop their TradeHub system on our Govcrate platform.
The initial aim of the project is to allow BTIB to gather data about the agricultural imports into the country versus the agricultural produce grown within the country. This is so that decisions and pokicy around import substitution can be formulated based on accurate and up-to-date date information.
This required gathering data from customs, agricultural producers, local retailers, and then cleaning, preparing, and integrating these data sources into the TradeHub platform.
