Søren Pommer demonstrates how to draw a simple process map, and why keeping it simple can be very beneficial to your organisation. A process map helps us understand who is doing what in a specific process. This gives us a baseline of who the stakeholders are and what it is that they do within a process. This then informs who should be on the project team, what the scope of the system is and what the performance metrics should be for effectiveness and efficiency. i.e. identify the stakeholders involved in the process, identify what it is that they do during the process.
